Explore the life-size, interactive machines faithfully crafted by Italian artisans from Leonardo’s codices (notebooks) – including the first concepts of a car, bicycle, helicopter, glider, parachute, submarine and military tank, to name a few.
Discover the Secrets of Mona Lisa, a high definition recreation of The Last Supper, HD animations of the Sforza Horse and Vitruvian Man, facsimiles of Leonardo’s famous codices, anatomical studies, Anghiari battle drawings, Renaissance art, and more.
Many visitors to Da Vinci – The Genius ask themselves: How could one man, who lived more than 500 years ago, possibly be responsible for the world’s most famous painting and for an unimaginable array of scientific discoveries and inventions that changed our world!? Indeed.
Visi Design Awards
The 2011 ABSOLUT VISI Designer of the Year Awards, which took place at the Chavonnes Battery Museum at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, brought together the great minds of the design world to celebrate its top achievers.
